Episode Info: Although told otherwise, two men take an unsafe submarine to the ocean floor searching for a rumored forest of gems. As expected they quickly get into trouble and need rescue. As Stingray maneuver to help the trapped men, Troy himself gets into trouble. On the verge of death Troy has a strange encounter that sees him assume command of an undersea empire including the fabled gem forest. As his capital comes under attack things begin to crumble leading Troy realize all may not be as they seem.

Story: Follows the adventures of the World Aquanaut Security Patrol, particularly the crew of its most advanced combat submarine called Stingray.

The World Aquanaut Security Patrol (WASPs) explored the oceans and kept the world safe from a variety of perils. The WASPs main weapon was Stingray, a super-sub under the command of Troy Tempest. Troys copilot was Phones, and they were often joined on missions by Marina, a princess of the undersea kingdom of Pacifica. Marina could breathe under water, but was unable to speak. In charge of the WASPs was gruff Commander Shore, whose daughter Atlanta was both a member of his staff and Marinas rival for Troys affection.
