This show is about a boy named Leonard Amadeus Helperman (Shaun Fleming) and his talking dog Spot (Nathan Lane), who wants to go to school to learn. So, to go to school, Spot disguises himself as a boy named Scott Leadready II and goes into grade four. He then becomes the teachers pet and the most popular student at school.
