The best of the reality series crop is back, with 12 teams of 2 players each racing around the world, trying not to be eliminated at a series of checkpoints in which the last team to arrive is booted from the show. CBS chooses teams with relationships containing at least some tension, especially when the situation involves intense pressure. This season includes such duos as two circus clowns, a gay married couple, a father and son, a recently engaged couple, married couples, and best friends.

The sixth season of The Amazing Race saw 11 teams race for $1,000,000 around the globe to amazing locations including Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Senegal, Germany, Hungary, Corsica, Ethiopia, Sri Lanka, China and Hawaii. The contestants included five models, two professional wrestlers, spinning instructors, an ex-Playboy playmate and a former striptease aerobics instructor. However only the fastest were able to make it all the way around the world and win $1,000,000, and this season, it was Freddy and Kendra who won the big prize.
