Episode Info: The Loyal Order of Water Buffaloes organizes a beauty contest, and Fred and Barney are chosen to judge it, against their will, as they anticipate Wilma and Bettys jealousy. They must deal with the girls displeasure as a parade of contestants come to their houses, and with pressure from various contestants boosters, including Mr. Slate, who wants his daughter to be chosen, and a gangster who wants them to pick his "Cookie."

Story: The misadventures of two modern-day Stone Age families, the Flintstones and the Rubbles.

This popular animated television cartoon featured two Stone Age families, the Flintstones and their neighbors, the Rubbles. Much of the humor was based on its comic portrayals of modern conveniences, reinterpreted using Stone Age technology. Most notably were their cars, complete with absence of floorboards to allow them to be foot-powered.

The Flintstones were the modern Stone Age family. Residing in Bedrock, Fred Flintstone worked an unsatisfying quarry job, but returned home to lovely wife Wilma and eventually daughter Pebbles. Fred, a big fan of golf and bowling, also enjoyed bullying neighbor Barney Rubble, while Barneys saucy wife Betty was best friends with Wilma. During the shows run, Barney and Betty would adopt an unnaturally strong son, Bamm-Bamm, who would become friends with little Pebbles. "The Flintstones," heavily inspired by "," convinced a generation of children that dinosaurs and humans occupied the planet at the same time.
