Episode Info: Fred takes Pebbles to the supermarket and discovers she puts a lot of things in the basket. Fred is afraid his daughter might be a budding kleptomaniac. While Freds at the jewelers to purchase a gift for Wilma, a thief plants an expensive diamond collar in Pebbless crib. Back home, Wilma is delighted with the "gift," but Fred suspects that Pebbles snatched it. He goes back at night with Barney to the jewelry store to sneak the collar back, but the thief is waiting there to recover his loot.

Story: The misadventures of two modern-day Stone Age families, the Flintstones and the Rubbles.

This popular animated television cartoon featured two Stone Age families, the Flintstones and their neighbors, the Rubbles. Much of the humor was based on its comic portrayals of modern conveniences, reinterpreted using Stone Age technology. Most notably were their cars, complete with absence of floorboards to allow them to be foot-powered.

The Flintstones were the modern Stone Age family. Residing in Bedrock, Fred Flintstone worked an unsatisfying quarry job, but returned home to lovely wife Wilma and eventually daughter Pebbles. Fred, a big fan of golf and bowling, also enjoyed bullying neighbor Barney Rubble, while Barneys saucy wife Betty was best friends with Wilma. During the shows run, Barney and Betty would adopt an unnaturally strong son, Bamm-Bamm, who would become friends with little Pebbles. "The Flintstones," heavily inspired by "," convinced a generation of children that dinosaurs and humans occupied the planet at the same time.
