When the results of the victims toxicology report arrive, the entire investigation plunges into a tailspin. Through hard work, the detectives identify William Weston Moon as the suspect in McQuays murder. In the end, William Moon was arrested and charged with second-degree murder. He later agreed to plead guilty and had his charge downgraded to manslaughter. He was sentenced to ten years in prison.
