Episode Info: After informant Nosey Parker has tipped them off about the drug-dealing habits of boxer-turned-gangster John Coogan, CI5 interrogate Coogans younger brother, Paul,who dies, seemingly after Doyle has hit him. Coogan gets his powerful lawyer to instigate a committee to determine whether or not CI5 should be disbanded but Cowleys own investigations throw light on the true cause of Pauls death as well as exposing Coogans violent activities and confirming the need for the departments continued existence.

Story: Bodie and Doyle, top agents for Britains CI5 (Criminal Intelligence 5), and their controller, George Cowley fight terrorism and similar high-profile crimes. Cowley, a hard ex-MI5 operative, hand-picked each of his men. Bodie was a cynical ex-SAS paratrooper and mercenary whose nature ran to controlled violence, while his partner, Doyle, came to CI5 from the regular police force, and was more of an open-minded liberal.
