Episode Info: The Fohn Fighter is a war-plane manufactured in Eastern Europe but it is a death trap and several pilots have been killed whilst flying it. A British reporter discovers this fact and aims to leak the story to the press but has a hitman, Van Neikerk, in pursuit. It is down to the Professionals to ensure that the killer does not get his prey and the story is published.

Story: Bodie and Doyle, top agents for Britains CI5 (Criminal Intelligence 5), and their controller, George Cowley fight terrorism and similar high-profile crimes. Cowley, a hard ex-MI5 operative, hand-picked each of his men. Bodie was a cynical ex-SAS paratrooper and mercenary whose nature ran to controlled violence, while his partner, Doyle, came to CI5 from the regular police force, and was more of an open-minded liberal.
