Episode Info: When the casino takes in more chips than they dispensed, theres concern that someone has stolen the hotels chips. So Dan talks to Clay Summer, who makes the chips and swears theres no way to take a chip out of the plant. When Clays innocence is questioned, Dan sets out to prove his innocence. Clays son Brad, who faked his death, is behind it and is working with plant employee Eddie Stolvak. When Eddie gets nervous, Brad kills Eddie and frames Dan.

Story: Dan Tanna is a private investigator in the gambling town of Las Vegas, Nevada. Vegas can be seedy or glamorous, depending upon the point of view. Dan Tanna, a Vietnam vet, works as a private eye in Las Vegas. He lives in an apartment in back of the Desert Inn and his boss is the owner of the hotel, Phil Roth. Tanna is aided by his sexy but efficient secretary, Bea Travis, and his nerdy legman, Bobby "Binzer" Borso. Tannas contact on the force is Lt. Dave Nelson.
